Drying Ground Colour

We have spent some time in the Drying Ground this morning, pulling up the wave of bracken which has emerged whilst we have been away.  I then set about the brambles, enjoying the colour from the neighbouring cornflowers.  In a different bed the corn marigolds were out in the sunshine.  I'm hoping that the rain we have had this afternoon and evening will activate some of the seeds more recently planted and revive the flowers already out.
