starling and chick

I had a relaxing day for our last day in Montreal with a swim in the apartment pool and use of their steam and sauna. Then had an afternoon walk  on Ile de Soeurs , where we are staying. I hadn't realised quite how many birds are on this small island , said to be over 200 species. I photographed quite a few in the trees , but couldn't identify most of them, and a heron and ducklings on the water. There are also lots of starlings that appear to be very tame.
