Buttermere

During the Summer months there is a bus to/from Buttermere, so this morning we hopped on the bus to Buttermere.

It was really windy with dark threatening skies! However, we stayed dry until we had nearly walked all the way around the lake ( 5 miles ). But the rain wasn't heavy and we got to Sykes cafe for delicious Stilton and Brocoli soup.

Heavy rain while we were on the bus back to Cockermouth...then, sunshine and showers! What weather!!
