At home day

Yesterday evening we finally had a thunderstorm accompanied by some heavy rain. It lasted for about an hour and reduced the temperature to around the mid 20s C.

It was a slightly cooler start to the day, but by lunchtime normal weather returned, and the temperature this afternoon has been in the low 30s C.

We went to the bar for breakfast as usual, but otherwise have had an at home day. The resident children and their friends have been in the pool all afternoon.

Maybe I will light the BBQ this evening.
