Hidden Amongst Us

Dear O'H dear, Lovely Tea Jenny and The Mini Princesses,

The Prince and I went out for lunch today.

His first food FOMO moment was when he noticed the French toast and bacon coming out to the table next to us.

“I wish I’d ordered that. I’m having it next time.”

But this was completely superseded when the food arrived for a guy sitting in the corner.

“Have you seen what he’s having?” asked The Prince in wonder, “A cinnamon bun for his main and THEN chocolate cake for dessert. I didn’t even realise they had cakes here. I would have had that if I’d known. That looks amazing.”

I actually had to tell him to stop staring!

We left the cafe and I was in no doubt that the guy in the corner has become The Prince’s new hero.

“He just came in on his own to do that,” marvelled The Prince as though corner guy had single handedly saved the planet from alien invasion rather than increasing his risk of type 2 diabetes.
