Layers Upon Layers

Another hot day, but it’s Friday, and I’m about to start a week of annual leave… so life is pretty good at the moment. Got my daily photo in the bag very early today—with the first rays of sunlight, in fact. Reflections and refractions in the glass top of our patio table. I thought it was going to be busy, but in the end my workday turned out to be refreshingly calm and civilised. One of our colleagues, Tracy, is moving on to pastures new after 20 years, so we had a nice lunch for everyone to wish her well. A few of the peeps were heading over to The Penny after work, but I had to give that a miss… I have an early start and a long drive ahead of me tomorrow.
