The Woodhouse

This is probably our favourite cafe, located on the A811 just outside Kippen. We've been here loads since we discovered it last year. They do great cakes and serve tea in beautiful mis-matched china. It was really busy today though and the atmosphere was not as mellow as we're used to. Probably best if we go less often and not let familiarity breed contempt. After the cafe we all went swimming; Orla happily diving under the water but still won't float on her back. Hard to know what Conor thinks of the pool. He doesn't cry or object, but he's not really his normal happy self either. He's probably just taking it all in.
