Early morning walk

Had to be at the pier at 7am this morning to meet my guests for a nature reserve walk up to Marwick Head. I’m not a morning person so dragging myself out of bed at 5.30 is no fun at all but I don’t mind too much when I get to take a group of people on a fabulous walk in a beautiful part of our islands. They loved the experience of wild gusty wind combined with the sunshine. One woman said to me that she now felt properly windswept and interesting.
