Walking Day

The discussion this week has been whether it would be too hot for some people to walk, a very sunny week. Today it was touch and go whether we would get rained off! The service was at 2pm. We started to get the procession lined up outside from about 2.20pm, just as it started to spit. By the time the last people got out of church it was raining hard. We were drenched but at least it was warm rain and it actually freshened up the air and made it less muggy. It only last about 10mins after the walk started. We then dried out quickly.
