Another Birthday Gift

This beautiful book arrived today - a gift from my friend Alison. I love it, the words and the drawings are just so beautiful. Thanks Alison x

Today we had a group photo taken outside The Black Horse - purely for publicity for the community pub venture.

After that we went to meet up with Gary and Teresa who bought our boat and Teresa’s twin sister Lisa and hubby Dave. We met in The Boat House in the canal basin. It was lovely to see and we’ve arranged to meet a week on Sunday at the jam session there. We found out today that we love the same kinds of music - Emmylou Harris, James Taylor, Nancy Griffiths, Iris Dement and lots of others. Also Teresa and Lisa have been singing together since they were children. So they are going to sing at the session and Frank will accompany them on guitar. They have chosen Five and Dime by Nancy Griffiths. Frank and I sing this song too.
