Kendal from a distance

When I had my car serviced, I was advised that one of the tyres was worn, and that I should replace all four (it being a four wheel drive). 

Now, something similar to this has happened before, and when I called Kwikfit out to the house, they repaired a the slow puncture FOR FIVE QUID and saved me over a thousand pounds. 

As it happens, the tyre in question on this occasion is the cheap one we had put on in Skye at the start of the year, and it does look a little worn, so today I took it across to Kwikfit in Kendal. They will replace the tyres tomorrow. 

I couldn't;t be bothered with going back through the Kendal one way system, so instead I followed an old running route of mine, up the Grayrigg road as far as Mealbank and then back across towards Oxenholme.

The views down to Kendal are stunning, especially on a say like today. I just wish I'd done a better job of capturing that!
