Midsummer solstice

It was rainy and cold Midsummer Day and summer solstice day. Didn't have energy to do much. in the evening we made a short trip to Nokia. We were super lucky because rain was in pause during our walks! First we stopped to the Local Heritage Museum Hinttala, it was closed but we walked around the yard. Then we walked in the Penttilänpuisto park and lastly went to see how Tehdassaari island looks like nowadays.

This old bicycle is in Hinttala, its model name is Voitto (= Victory). In early 20th century Finland, bicycle production increased significantly, there were hundreds of different models and manufacturers. Bicycles were an important part of the country's industry and traffic.
