Making Babies...

At last a shield bug sighting! I spotted them on one of our buddleia plants  when I came back from my sewing workshop. 

I was having a go at pattern drafting at Lorna Knight's Sewing Academy in the morning. We measured and made a simple skirt pattern, made it up using calico. Then we made adjustments on this and transferred them back to the pattern. So I now have a skirt pattern that fits me exactly! The next time I go it'll be trousers...

We went to visit dad at the Haywood Hospital this afternoon. He was rather sleepy, so we didn't get much conversation out of him.
