Colourful MGs

Driving from Grantown on Spey to Knockando we noticed there were many MGs on the road,of all ages! When we arrived many were at The Old Mill, stopping for a coffee, so interesting to see these old cars, there are 366 of them staying in Aviemore for the weekend (with their owners from many parts of Europe!)

BBC Beechgrove Garden team are going to set out the garden at the mill, it'll be on tv at end of September, it's an interesting place to visit.

Also visited the castle at Ballandalloch, where the Aberdeen Angus cattle originated, there was a herd posing for photos!! Thought about blipping one of them however the MGs won me over! I used to have an Austin Healy sprite (similar but different!) in my youth (only a few years ago!!!)

While at the castle, there was a bit if drama, a visitor's camera exploded!!! Something to do with the batteries!! Burnt the carpet & his hand!! Wow!! Didn't know that could happen! The Silver band playing suddenly stopped & we were all evacuated! The acrid smell was so strong!
