Standing Out

The National Trust’s Greys Court is hosting an Oxford Sculptors Group’s exhibition in the gardens, so I headed along to check it out. The sculptures and skill of their makers were impressive, and I took a couple of trips round the gardens to appreciate them.

I had lunch in the refreshingly air conditioned cafe before taking a stroll round the one of the way marked walks. However, despite a gentle breeze the rising temperature was becoming uncomfortable, so I left for home earlier than I would normally do. Probably a good decision, as the trip took over an hour due to traffic - thank goodness for air conditioned cars!

I loved this blue love-in-a-mist flower standing along in a sea of limey green, so this is my Flower Friday shot of the day.
