Lazy day...

Didn’t do much today. Had a bit of a walk round the site and a couple of  dips in the pool. That’s about it. I didn’t even take any photos. My blip is a screen grab from a video of Mr C attempting (and failing) to lob a crusty bit of bread into the bin across from our pitch. Four tries. Four fails... hahaha!
Was just about to dish up our dinner of  roast veg couscous with miso tofu  – when the neighbour popped over for a chat. Or rather, a monologue. Mainly about himself and his PhD – something to do with the historical relationship between architecture and communities… socio-architectural anthropology. Fascinating stuff on the whole.
Like a lot of people I’ve met lately, he doesn’t actually use his PHD for anything practical. All felt a bit... self-indulgent, to be honest. I left them to it and started tidying the van. They were still at it ‘til midnight. 

Really hot night, couldn't sleep -  roll on the cooler weather at the coast tonight... and air conditioning!
