It has been very hot at 27.5C in the garden which was far too hot to be outside and even at sunset it was 20C which is hotter than it has been on many recent days. Tomorrow the forecast is not quite as hot then on Sunday it reverts to the normal weather with maximums below 20C.  Each year I like to record the sunsets on the winter and summer solstices if possible.  This evening was rather disappointing because there was cloud obscuring the actual setting of the sun which was just under six hours of the time when the sun is furthest north at 3.42am. on Saturday
