Dusk

I took this at 10.15pm on the way home from the brewery. It’s still light and reasonably warm.
Rather than a day of 2 halves, this has been a day of 20 20th’s.
Sports day. I was late after my student’s mum told me she was dropping him at 9.45 so I went to Tesco then got a call to say he had arrived . She meant to say 8.45 not 9.45. Afterwards, we set our 5 butterflies free and my student went home.
My afternoon was cancelled. My boss sent me to the centre to clean out cupboards instead. It was hot and sticky and hard work.
Sat in the garden with Pops for a while this afternoon. D barbecued and we ate outside. We then popped over to Cambridge City ‘City Fest’ to check out the stage set up before the boys play there tomorrow.
We didn’t stay long . Poppy dropped us at the brewery where we met up with the normal Friday crowd for a couple of beers. D ended up jump starting a car.
We’re now home and are sitting outside with the children. We’ve lit the burner.
It’s been an odd day.
