Lavender

I had an early morning walk with Claire on Southampton Common today. It was good to get out before it got too hot. We had a lovely walk. It’s the walk we used to do together before my knee deteriorated and before my knee replacement. I’ve been working up to doing it again and was really pleased to manage it today, it felt like a real achievement! I went back to Claire’s for a cold drink where I saw this beautiful lavender in her garden.
