Special Olympics....Medal Winners

Another collage...the weather today was foul..rained all day but it didn`t stop the athletes. Every event was completed.
These lovely people won a host of medals...14 between them.
The young girls won 5 each for Gymnastics, the one on the left 3 gold and 2 silver, the one on the right 2 gold, 2 silver and a bronze.
The tall guy won a bronze in the shot putt.....9.5 metres, the chap next to him achieved one of each in track events and the little girl is the daughter of one of the carers.
The badge.....that was given to me by one of the other athletes and takes pride of place on my camera strap.

It`s past midnight and I`m off to bed...doing the breakfast run and got an early start
