Little and large
Hot (for here) and rather humid today but quite a lot of cloud around so it wasn't too bad.
First thing we went to a local shed maker and ordered a summerhouse. They will install it, though we have to put some hardcore down first, and afterwards it will need painted/oiled. It will be the beginning of September when we get it, which will be a good time to get some benefit in the autumn.
Home and hung out the washing and wondered about having a short run before it got too hot when Mr Rat said he had to go up to church, so I got him to drop me off near the reservoir.
There was a bit of breeze in the open areas so I planned a route into the breeze for these bits and coming back through the woods. It wasn't too bad apart from the last half mile on the streets late morning.
I spent a little time doing some easy jobs in the garden before sitting on the patio/snoozing in the hammock.
The jobs I didn't do earlier have been done this evening.
I went out without a camera this morning and was wondering what to blip when I noticed this very large cone on the table, so I fetched a small, larch one to give some idea of size. The big one came from Corsica in 1972!
