Oh What

………………………….a beautiful day!

Workie arrived by 9am to re-sand my drive then I got all my pots moved around front and back to try to get things back to normal…it was already very warm!  Walked part way to the bus stop to meet L and had a quick cuppa and catch up before it was time to head out to meet E and Paddy the border terrier at Norham. We opted to have lunch first…a lovely little courtyard beer garden at a local hostelry. The lunch menu wasn’t extensive but what we had was fresh and tasty. Ice creams were then the order of the day before we set off for a walk along the river and back by the road…the breeze when it blew was very welcoming. A detour to E’s to drop off the dog before we headed to Etal and the river Till. E and I want for a swim whilst L just paddled. The water was very refreshing once you were in…the water was 19 degrees but probably nearer 30 air temperature. A lovely hour or so was spent swimming and sitting in the sun chatting. All too soon it was time to head back to Berwick for L to catch her bus and I went to pick up the wee man for his overnight visit. Everyone fed and watered including the pots…someone is now refusing to go to sleep, it could be a long hot, sticky night!

My blip is E’s wild flower garden which was looking very colourful. Extra taken by L of me and E swimming…just to prove it happened ;-)
