The sun has got his hat on

hip hip hip hooray
The sun has got his hat on and is coming out to play.

Which makes no sense. Why would the sun need to wear a sun hat?

Another day of high temperatures. I went out twice for exercise but got very hot the second time. Carrying a large piece of wood from our local second hand timber co-operative probably didn’t help. But Little Miss A had her own tent and stayed cool most of the day. I looked after her on two or three occasions and she was delightful company.

The weather is set to continue hot for the foreseeable future. Mid twenties rather than low thirties thank god.
