What a nice day to be outdoors! Bright sun, low humidity, refreshing breezes with temps in mid-70s • Happy Summer Solstice • MrsP and I started the day with a breakfast by the river at our local boat landing. A few eagles soared overhead, quacking mallards toured the edges, flying cormorants skimmed blue water but the leaping sturgeon held most of our attention. We counted 16, but no doubt we missed a few! • This photo was taken in Hallowell, home of the colorful adirondack chairs. We spotted an adult eagle in the nest located across the river, and a pair of hungry ospreys surveying the water below • Peace & Love
