Get My Drift . . .

Always interesting to see local fishermen working the nets. I think this is a small drift net, with the float line holding the net to the surface of the water and a lead line to keep the bottom of the net down, so that fish cannot swim underneath. When fish meet the mesh, they swim towards the warp where they collect.
What is happening in reality is free food . . . there are two seals close by and so by the time the fishermen get to pull up their catch, most of it has been eaten.
