Keeping in the shade

Didn't much like the pictures I took this morning so I've just taken the camera down the track where, on this very hot day, it's reasonably shady and cool.

I'm fairly sure this rather handsome beast is a kind of harlequin ladybird (where are the ICE agents when you need them?)  The wildflower I've paired it with is hedge woundwort (Stachys sylvatica).
