"The wise man built his house upon a rock".

This is an old Sunday School song but it was the Scripture Union theme for "Back to School Sunday" today at church. After praying for all children, teachers and support workers in the congregation and watching a powerpoint version of the story we went off to Sunday School for some building fun.

We first had a feel of the rock and the sand, then played a house building game, coloured in the two builders and their houses and made 2 model houses each. While we did all this we kept reminding ourselves that we are to be like the wise man and live life God's way! We also ate jelly snakes - no connection to the story - we just like them!
