Matariki Morning…..

Golden light early this morning. A Public Holiday in New Zealand to celebrate the rising of Matariki, aka the Seven Sisters or the Pleiades. Matariki signals the new year and spring to come. It has been celebrated throughout the country today.

Friend Julie and son Taane from Wellington visited this morning. They last saw Ruby when she was nine weeks old. A huge change to be sure!
