Car Wash

I've got neighbours on the floor above who seem to be doing some DIY. They start drilling into their floor (my ceiling) early in the morning. It is LOUD. It happened first on Friday, then again today. Thankfully, I was spared on Saturday and had a lie-in! I think I'll knock on their door tomorrow to say "Hello" and let them know I am back!

So, after a noisy start, I have spent the day looking at things that needed seeing to - like starting Gs car and giving it a run. First stop had to be the local garage to topup the tyres, then a little drive out - it went beautifully unlike my car(!), then to the car wash before returning home. Today was noticeably cooler. Nice breeze and not very humid. I think the temp might have even been below 40 which is something for this time of year.

Paid Pauline a visit before taking my car out for another drive to see if it has sorted it's breathing problem out! It hasn't, so trip to Volvo tomorrow morning.

I love car washes here. Apart from the machine giving the outside a thorough wash, 4 men then descend on the car and hoover and clean the inside. They wipe off excess water from the windows and body and spray the dashboard and tyres with polish. All for less than $10. Fantastic!
