District Sport

Eldest was selected to compete in the howler throw at district sport.  A howler is a kind of foam dart shaped thing (I guess it's safer than a javelin!).  9 local schools competed and she came second and was delighted with her medal!  Her friend from cricket who goes to a different school got bronze.  I was so pleased for the two of them, I think all the cricket training probably helped.  It was a scorcher of a day watching them compete but we found some shade under a tree!
