I wanna be a rock star

Up at ridiculous o'clock to head to London for the day.

My young padawan messaged me to say she would be late in, which meant my surprise was kind of scuppered. So, I messaged her this photo with my ESG rock star sunglasses on. Lol! She loved it.

A quiet day in the office. Made even quieter by me not sending two invites for meetings in the office out, so it was essentially a wasted trip. I can't believe I didn't send the invites out. Doh!

Anyway, my young padawan and I had a great laugh. We've also sent off another award submission after our investor nominated us for some private equity award. Fingers crossed.

It was scorchio in London. The concrete jungle just swallows the heat and makes it unbearable.

Heading home on the train and yes it was delayed again, so I've made another delay repay claim. Thankfully the Severn tunnel should be open again after this week, so hopefully things improve. Wishful thinking?
