Sunshine and rain

We were over on the West coast today and stopped for a spot of lunch at the Ardardan Estate Farm Shop. In-between the downpours we walked around the nursery where this fine Scotch thistle was in flower. The bees were having a wonderful time rummaging in the flower heads that was until the next monsoon shower.
