Meet on the Ledge

Dear  Blipfriends,
I’m so sorry to have to share with you the news that my wonderful sister Claire, known to you all as Folkie, passed away last Sunday evening, with her amazing wife Paula at her bedside, holding her hand.
Claire maintained her caring personality & humour right to the end. She touched the lives of so many people, all around the world, that it’s comforting to know how loved & respected she was, and how missed she will be.

I’m sure Claire would want me to thank all the staff of our fantastic NHS who looked after her in her final days.
Ma Booknerd, LOH, ‘Appy & I were all able to visit her in hospital to say goodbye, as did many of her friends. And messages of love arrived from all around the globe. For a shy, introverted person, Claire clearly connected with an extraordinary number of people!
