Life of a bubble maker

Hushinish beach

Early start today which was tough after a bad night sleep with my sinuses and cold waking me up in the night but we were the only ones on reef beach at 7am, Darwin had a great time in the water and Kilda enjoyed her ball throwing at the end. Managed to get showered in the van and packed up in time to leave at 9 to head to Tarbert. Arrived at Harris distillery in time to give the dogs a short walk before doing the noon tour. Ages ago we bought into the distillery via there 1916 bottling so we got the tour for free and managed to find our names on one of the staves in the bottling hall. Shame to hear they have just laid off 26 staff due to the downturn in people drinking whisky apparently, and nothing to do the Trumps tariffs, yah right.  Bought a roll in the new deli on the high street and then headed over to Hushinish beach, along the 12 miles of single track up and down road. Arrive with no real issues and found a parking spot after a few attempts. Nice dog walk along the beach to wear them out before dinner after flying my kite. Dogs were knackered but just about managed to go out for a final walk so I could take a sun setting picture.
