A lovely rainbow!

Bob next door was out when we arrived home yesterday so this morning he brought an envelope round. What a lovely surprise from Sal (squatbetty)
A lovely card, a crochet rainbow, a League Against Cruel Sports book mark (close to my heart) and some cute stickers. 
I’ve been looking for some things to hang on the extension doors to deter birds flying against the glass and this is perfect. Thanks Sal, I love it.
I have worked in the garden all day and thought I was finished at 8 pm and was going to come in. Then I did a stupid thing!
I decided to squirt the extension bi-fold door to get all the leaves and muck off the steps. I had forgotten the doors weren’t completely closed and squirted the plants on the steps and wet soil went everywhere, inside and down into the slidey bit at the bottom of the door. That took me another hour to clean and put all the plants back
Also I misplaced my RED secateurs and hunted all over the garden for them - I had just used them! Even Bob next door hunted around the garden.
I thought I might have thrown them in the bin with the rubbish. Then a couple of hours later there they were - camouflaged on the RED bag of compost in the wheelbarrow!
Melanie phoned me today she got a job that she interviewed for the other day. I’m so pleased for her. It means she can leave the SW job she hated.

Book and bedtime now, if I can stay awake!
