Pappling

On the way home from some afternoon appointments in West Lothian I escaped the heat and clambered up Cairnpapple Hill this evening. It’s great to mooch about this unspoiled Neolithic site and you can see the Forth stretching from Stirling to the bridges and Edinburgh, over the Pentland Hills in the south and the Lomond Hills on the north side. I’ve always loved it here, and had it almost entirely to meself for an hour.
