On the nest

The two great crested grebes I saw about 10 days ago have successfully set up a nest at RSPB Lochwinnoch. The extras show at least two eggs but the reserve thinks there are four. The incubation period is 28 days so chicks may arrive early July. The nest is relatively near the shore so great views. Also saw the roe deer again and my favourite heron. A lovely warm day.
