Wash Day?

It looks in great condition. The handle lying is for the wringer.
We had a wringer when I was a child , it was very effective. My Mum used to warn me to not get my hair caught in it!
The Mart was very quiet today but the Fly cemetery was delicious (mincemeat slice).
