The Spider & the Peg-Bag

Firstly, thanks to all my fellow blippers who have showered me with hearts for my previous two blips...it's most appreciated.

As for today, not everyone likes to be confronted with a photo of a spider, so I've put her as an extra, even though she is the main subject of my blip.

M had put up a retractable washing line in the garden for me.  All I needed was some pegs and a line-prop (the latter arrived from Mr Amazon this evening).  I knew I had some pegs somewhere in the garden shed, and sure enough they were in a woven bag hanging up next to an old hanging basket.  There was rather a lot of wispy fine cobwebs all over it so I put on my gardening gloves before removing it from its hook.  When I turned it over I found this dark globe-shaped spider attached along with a carefully wrapped moth, presumably for her to eat later (see extra).  I took a photo and showed it to the nice (very) young man who had come to repair a leak under our kitchen sink.  To my surprise he seemed to think it was a 'False Widow' spider, which I believe can bite (probably a female).  If anyone in 'blipland' can confirm its identity then I would be very grateful. I was rather impressed that such a young chap seemed to know about this spider.  He then told us some stories about finding various spiders inside central heating boiler cupboards in the course of his work.

As for the main blip, I've just bought a new begonia for one of my pots, and I rather like the colour, although I can't quite decide whether it's pink or red but thought I would share it with you.
