Fiddleneck Butterfly
I went to collect the Honda Pro mower from Ernest Doe this morning. Steve said he enjoyed working on it. He showed me pics of the bad state of the carburettor and jet which he has cleaned.
I stopped on the way back to photograph what I thought was a field of borage which I had seen when in the traffic jam the other day. It wasn't borage but non-native Phacelia. Farmers grow this as green manure. It is meant to be popular with insects but I was shocked that I struggled to find any to capture.
It was very hot, I therefore I decided to leave unloading the mower until the late afternoon. I put the TV on. Zara Tindall looked so lovely at Royal Ascot that it brought a tear to my eye. What on earth was the Marchioness of Salisbury thinking when she took a selfie whilst in the carriage with the King and Queen? How rude! The King's grey morning suit was perfect for the hot weather. I'm surprised that more men don't go for grey.
I unloaded the mower and it started amazingly easily. I was able to cut the dreaded wall barley that I have been worrying about.
