St Martin's, Scilly
Today was a leisurely walk from the east side of St Martin's across to the west. We revisited the Seven Stones pub and I ate the same item from the menu as the other day, a feta salad. It was so good that there was no need to try something else.
Near the Lowertown quay there's a little silversmith's and I'd decided to buy myself something, so I went in and chose a small plain oval bangle and a sea urchin pendant. Ziggy and I then went and had a sleepy hour on the beach while they soldered the pendant on. That's my present to myself from Clive as I know for certain he'd have bought me something there (I have a necklace from several years ago also from there, which he chose and bought for me as a surprise).
We meandered our way back across the island again and are now back in our little cottage. It will be another early night tonight.
I don't think it's been as warm here today as at home on the mainland. I'm quite relieved about that as there aren't many places with much shade on this island.
