Hot in the City

I slept well after yesterday’s graft, woke just before 8 & thought “I’ll get up in a mo”…… next thing I knew it was 9.40!!!

Quick light fruity breakfast & a cuppa, then shower & what to wear, obviously very warm out there already. Had left 2 outfits out, opted for a loose linen dress.

Outside for a quick watering session to keep my newly planted things topped up.

Then into the sweltering car, AC straight on & off into Manchester to meet the girlies for our regular quarterly ish lunch dates.

Alberts Shed on the canal in Castlefields was our choice, we sat outside, under their awning, so we were shaded, enjoyed our lovely food, a mini dessert & coffee too, with lots of water today too!

We were a bit thin on the ground, just 4 of 8, but nonetheless lovely to catch up on our various busy lives.

We parted company around 3.30, an easy trip home for me & K, unlike J back to Anglesey & B back to Harrogate.

I brought my camera as I knew I wanted to pop under the bridge & take a few shots as the weather is so glorious! This is one of half a dozen images I took.

The drive home was a little busy, got back in 40 mins, temperature gauge read 29c !!

More watering before I leave for Lincoln tonight, just about to pack a bag, again lol!!
Not leaving until its cooled down, certainly not until after 7 ……….
