Portree

We had a good crossing on the Ferry from Tarbert to Uig*. From here we drove to Portree where we are staying.

This morning we went and visited Dunvegan Castle which was interesting. The gardens, however, were my favourite. I particularly liked the woodland walk and the walled garden.

Prior to our holiday, I booked lunch  in Colbost and it was delicious.  Back to the hotel via Sligachan. Beautiful views of the Cuillins. Really good day.

* I have eaten way too much Tablet.
