Take it away

Here in Akbuk, when you have an excessive amount of rubbish, apparently, you just leave it by one of the municipal dumpsters and the council comes along with digger and truck to scoop it all up and remove it.  Someone dumped a huge amount of trash at the bottom of my street a while ago - carpets, old furniture, packing boxes textiles, garden waste etc etc, and today it was dealt with by the council. This entertained me for a good ten minutes this morning, providing a welcome distraction from the noise and mess and disruption of all the building work in constant temperatures of around 35ºC.  Especially difficult today when we had some drama with a neighbour who doesn't like the storage shed they're making in my garden cos she thinks it's ugly. 

Having said that, it was another day of excellent progress with the building work.
