Murky again

I’m tiring of posting you dreary looking photos! However, that is how the day has been and it is winter!
It’s been a busy day - walking and coffee with our friends from Christchurch…good to see Pianolady and the Turner at their favourite cafe again.
Then off to an optometrist appointment - which requires some follow-up treatment that I can get in Wānaka- so that’s a treat. 
Another meeting on the website…and after tea went to hear about a proposed open gold mine in the hills above vineyards and farms that has arsenic and cyanide in its tailings…right near the Clutha River. It’s been fast tracked by our government….very depressing….especially when a person with 35 years experience in mining told us what it would be like. He was totally opposed…..
