Linlithgow to Edinburgh

On a bit of a canal-expedition today!

Our sister organisation - the 'Linlithgow Union Canal Society' (LUCS) - has very kindly donated two electric [battery] powered boats to us, at the 'Edinburgh Union Canal Society' (EUCS).

And one of our own EUCS members, who has a small canal-barge, is towing them (see the extra) through from the Linlithgow Canal Basin (see main snap) to our base at the Ashley Terrace Boathouse, in Edinburgh :-)

I'm along for the days' exploits (involving some 20-miles of cruising, which will take us around 9-hours or so), as the principal boating-assistant ... and tragically, the weather is just glorious!

It's a tough life :-))

P.S. made it in 8-hours, and have just added a 2nd extra of the new boats, now safely moored, in front of the Ashley Terrace Boathouse.
