Summer Veg Soup With Chervil

It feels positively Mediterranean today, so I went to my cookery books in search of a suitable recipe. This is my variation on a Raymond Blanc recipe, based in turn on his mother’s one. It’s one of those recipes which you can throw pretty much anything into - today I went for carrot, celery, leeks, onion, garlic and some broad beans. Our chervil is still thriving, so I was able to stick to Maman Blanc’s recipe and garnish it with some sprigs. Very tasty, and enough left over to freeze for another day.
