A Furry Paw for a Pillow

A homely scene as life takes on another rhythm. Honey is reassured that I’m around to stay now. I have a feeling that she felt lonesome when I was away, despite daily visits. My daughter came several times and stayed longer with her for lots of cuddles and chin tickles and games!

My flowers are doing well, despite the increasing heat: 31C expected from today and over the next few days. My yellow Coreopsis are doing so well and I counted 15 fully opened flowers this morning when I took this picture. A new rosebud too! Though I still have a battle with all the annoying diseases that roses tend to attract.
