Flood

While our daughter was visiting us for a few days, there was a water leak in the roof of her flat in St Albans which brought down the ceiling over the kitchen area.  It is perhaps fortunate that she had already decided to move to a flat nearer to us and had already moved some of her belongings.  The emergency plumber cleared her computer and screen from her desk before pulling down the loose hanging plasterboard.

Needless to say, the flat is uninhabitable at the moment, so our daughter has come back to stay with us until she can move into her new flat locally.

I am trying to catch up with my blip journal, having fallen well behind.  I am continuing record every day with a photograph, although they generally lack any artistic merit.  I have now posted another week's worth of blips and will continue a bulk catch up next week.
