Rauðasandur, a golden beach in Iceland

Today we drove from Laugar í Sælingsdalur to Flókalundur and then took a little detour to Rauðasandur. It's a golden beach, one of very few here in Iceland, and since the weather was excellent it felt like we were walking on a tropical beach in a foreign country. Wish I could live there in the summer!

In the evening we drove to Látrabjarg, the westernmost part of Europe. An absolutely wonderful place!

We were in Patreksfjörður just before midnight. BBQ and setting up tent in the midnight sun was like nothing else you've tried before! :)
